Rule 2: An MBA is Optional, a GSD is Essential

Being successful has nothing to do with collecting the right pieces of paper from the right college. I’m not knocking the benefit of a good education, but I’m more interested in your GSD: your ability to Get Stuff Done. Real-world results are what counts, not the pile of degrees you acquire or the pretend-world case studies you pour over. Patience isn’t always a virtue. True, intrapreneurs may need certain degrees to get a particular job. But here again the real-world results will help you climb the corporate ladder faster and with greater fulfillment.
