Rule 3: Problems + Pain = Profit

I’m amazed at how many entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs recognize the importance of packaging themselves well, yet repeatedly miss the opportunity to market their business effectively. A big part of the problem is the love-hate relationships we have with business plans. What a shame to have a brilliant idea and a brilliant way to execute it, only to capsize it with a lackluster business plan or financing pitch. To shine, your plan needs to be concise, compelling and complete. You need to find painful problems and solve them.
