Rule 5: Rock Rejection and Finesse Failure

A light goes off in my head. Beneath the layered silk and satin of the kimono, beneath the porcelain painted mask, nothing, nothing purrs feminine like the word geisha…I’ve found that every risk I’ve taken has resulted in a gain in the long term, even though I didn’t see it initially. You won’t always measure up – I sure haven’t – but that doesn’t mean you have to walk away from the game. You’re playing to win, not to avoid losing. You can always bounce back from any failure. The key is to fail forward, where the pain is reduced by the benefit of the lessons it brings.
