Rule 9: Resign as General Manager of the Universe

This is the message on my quote-of-the-day email. Resign? What a cop-out. General Manager of the Universe? Geez, that gig would require some epic control issues. I’m simply trying to make CEOs do what I want for their own good. I’m just trying to train my staff to do what I want, also for their own good. I’m only trying to convince the guy I’m dating to do what I want, yes, you’ve got it: for his own good. Why doesn’t everyone simply obey me? Don’t they understand that I know what’s best for them? I need someone to help me get the people in my life in line. Hmmm. Maybe I need some help too.
